Your Challenges
Delivering Robust Software Solutions
You will independently write well-tested, production-ready code that handles real business problems. You will make informed technical decisions and contribute to architectural discussions within your team's domain.
Collaborating Across Functions
You will work closely with teammates, your manager, and product counterparts, actively participating in planning and design discussions. You will communicate technical trade-offs clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Deepening Your Domain Expertise
You will build solid understanding of trading operations, risk management, and markets and apply this knowledge when designing features and APIs. You will start connecting technical decisions to business outcomes and user needs.
Owning Features End-to-End
You will take responsibility for complete features from design through production deployment, including testing, documentation, and operational considerations. You will respond to issues in your code and learn from production incidents.
Contributing to Team Excellence
You will help identify bottlenecks in our processes and systems, share knowledge with teammates, and actively contribute ideas for improving code quality, team practices and workflows.
Your Profile
A degree in computer science, mathematics, or a related field
Practical experience writing tested code, for example from internships, working student roles, thesis work, or personal projects
Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to work
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts clearly within a team
In-depth knowledge with Python, Java or a comparable language
Experience with web services, APIs or messaging technologies
Experience with databases
Experience with CI/CD
Experience with cloud technologies is a plus
Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
Interest in deepening your knowledge of our business domains (quantitative methods, trading processes, energy and financial markets)
Fluent in German and English
