FROM FORRS TO OKTOBERFEST
Getting to Oktoberfest
You will be divided into groups. Your group leader will guide you from the FORRS office to Oktoberfest and lead the group to your table in the tent.
We will travel by public transport: we will take the U1/U7 from Stiglmeierplatz to Munich Central Station (1 stop), change to U4/U5 and travel to Schwanthalerhöhe, then walk for 10 minuntes.
Meeting point: Paulaner tent, entrance OST -1 (Wirtsbudenstrasse 11, 80336 Munich)
IMPORTANT NOTE:
- No bags/backpacks allowed on the festival site! Please bring only small purses, the maximum allowed size is 20 cm x 15 cm x 10 cm (max. volume of 3 liters).
- Therefore leave your luggage at the hotel beforehand or use our shuttle service (see FAQs).
- Warning: The beer is particularly strong (about 25% stronger than usual).
- You’ll need to make your own way back to the hotel.

Food & Drinks
Lunch and dinner are included. Vegan and vegetarian dishes, as well as non-alcoholic beverages, are also available throughout the event and at Oktoberfest.
Luggage Transfer
We offer support with transporting your luggage from our office to your hotel after the event.
Therefore, please let us know whether you will be arriving directly from the airport or train station with luggage and would like us to arrange transportation of your luggage from our office to your hotel.
If you would like us to take care of this please provide us with:
→ Your hotel name
→ Confirmation that you will be arriving with your luggage directly from the airport / train station
This will help us coordinate the luggage transfer accordingly.
Dress Code
We recommend wearing Tracht. If you don't have any or would prefer not to borrow any, you can dress in casual to business casual attire.
Where can I rent a Dirndl or Lederhosen?

Who pays for the rental?
→ Guests pay for their own rental.
Can I have my Tracht delivered to my hotel?
→ The Tracht will be delivered to the FORRS office and picked up at your hotel reception the next day. Therefore you have to fill in your hotel information when booking your Tracht.
