Our Managing Director, Maximilian Salzberger, recently had the privilege of attending this event on the 21st and 22nd of March in Luxembourg. His goal was to bring back constructive and practical insights while connecting with fellow asset managers, investors, distributors, and service providers.

The conference commenced with a thought-provoking keynote lecture that painted the broader macroeconomic landscape and explored its implications for the asset management industry. The following day concluded with an engaging panel discussion featuring regulatory perspectives.

Turbulences and Resilience

The year 2022 brought unprecedented turbulence to the world, with events such as the war in Ukraine, the energy crisis, and rapidly rising interest rates in response to soaring inflation significantly impacting the investment fund industry. Yet, amidst these challenges, the European Asset Management Conference hosted by the ALFI demonstrated the industry's resilience and optimism for the future.

This event provided a unique opportunity to connect with asset managers, investors, and industry experts. Discussions spanned critical topics, including Liquidity Management, Digitalization, and the evolving regulatory environment, among others.
