On behalf of FORRS, our Managing Director Markus Riess recently had the opportunity to be part of a delegation that traveled to 🇨🇱 Chile. This mission was an incredible journey, and we are excited to share the details with you.
The trip was organized by the Bavarian representative Office in Chile to discuss impact projects in the field of water management and green hydrogen between Chile and Germany. They did an outstanding job of putting together a tight yet ambitious schedule for a delegation of more than 30 participants that was eager to explore the potential for business initiatives in these areas.

Representing Bavaria's strong positioning in the booming field of hydrogen, Carolin Reiser and Jasmin Rutka acted as fantastic ambassadors for the region of Bavaria and doing so helped the delegation to make some valuable connections in the four locations they visited in Chile: Pucon, Santiago, Antofagasta, and Punta Arenas.

In each city, the delegation had the chance to network with political leaders, enterprises, organizations, students, and universities in numerous presentations and networking sessions. This way, they were able to identify the right counterparts to establish cooperations and immediate business initiatives.

The delegation was impressed by the level of interest in their work and the warm reception they received in Chile. But this also went both ways, as they found the enthusiasm and creativity of the people they met to be truly admirable. We look forward to what kind of partnerships will develop as a result of this trip.
